Alphabet Soup Bookstore and The Book Archive are collaborating to provide a bookish care package to queer youth and are looking for community support. We are proud to have already provided 41 care packages to the Fyrefly Institute for the campers at Camp Fyrefly 2025. Our aim is to raise funds that will help recoup some of these upfront costs, and continue to provide these packages to Camp Fyrefly for 2026, and potentially other local organizations that work with queer youth throughout the year. How many books we're able to donate is decided by your support.

Each bookish care package includes:
2 YA books rated for 14-18 yrs
2+ high-quality stickers
2 branded bookmarks
An encouraging postcard with more information about Alphabet Soup and The Book Archive
 
The estimated retail value of each care package is $43. Our base cost for each care package is approximately $30. You can sponsor the full cost of a package for $30, or donate another amount toward the initiative from $5, $10 or $20. To sponsor multiple packages, add multiple quantities of $30 to your cart!
